noise ambient
cera krisanaa is a Brno-based experimental music producer. Using field recordings, her voice and synthesizers she creates soundscapes where ambient intertwines with noise, to reveal a sensitive perspective that explores the relationship between the outer and inner worlds. The intense sound experience involves dealing with sadness, as well as a path to reconciliation (perhaps even a path to detaching from it) and playfulness. Shifting attention becomes a compositional technique in her work.
She is part of the favu label collective, where sound art and fragments of pop production meet. In 2025, she released the EP knew it a year before on SoundCloud and was one of musicians featured in compilation 'S láskou...' (With love) released on favu label.
"Through my voice and writing, I add layer to the carefully crafted soundscapes—recorded on SD cards, manipulated, altered, and reshaped. At times they become harmonic, at other times they return to noise. In this way, I seek to introduce a performative dimension, actively engaging with and reshaping the soundscape naturally produced by machines.
While having a music education background early in my life (playing the violin), the focus on sound and noise always went hand in hand with melody making, rhythm following, breaking it, then coming back to it."
